E for All: Second Edition

Posted on October 6th, 2008 in Personal | No Comments »

Yesterday, I went to E for All in Los Angeles. It was a very nice experience but, I think I was expecting more… games, companies, people. Maybe the problem is that our industry has too many shows during the year (It has to be difficult for a game company to present new stuff in each of them). Or maybe the industry prefer to use Internet as medium to attract new clients. In any case, it is clear that something has to change.

Highlights :

  • Gears of War 2
If you liked the first you are going to love this second game! Basically, it is Gears of War * 2, they have improved every single feature of the game.
  • Far Cry 2
The first level is really impressive. I couldn’t play as much as I want because of the line but it keeps the essence of the first Far Cry.
  • The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom
Beautiful game created by USC students. Check it out : link
  • Others
Shaun White Snowboarding, Star Wars : The Force Unleashed.

Welcome to USC!
